Memorial Day the start of summer, a great three day weekend of grilling and partying with family and friends. Is that really what it's about? It is wonderful to spend some time with loved ones anytime you can, but I think everyone needs to take some time to thank the men and women who made it all possible and their families who no longer can spend time with them. Please on this Memorial day say thanks to the Lord for all those who have sacrificed for our freedom,
pray for their families. Pray for the ones who are fighting now to be safely returned home to be with family and friends.
Please watch the following video it"s pretty powerful, there are more at Memorial Day
Flixya
Thank you to all who have served and to the families of those who have served. The sacrifices that were made will not be forgotten. God Bless.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends

Matthew 27:50-53
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.(NIV)
Today is the day we celebrate the Resurrection of our precious lord Jesus the
Christ. Really I think we celebrate our salvation every day or we should, but today is a great day to spend time with our loved ones and honor the selfless acts of our wonderful Lord. Some may argue about the date, there is no point in that. The lord is pleased when we
praise him.
Here are some Bible verses I like:
Matthew 28:1-10
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me." (NIV)
John 11:25-26 (King James Version)
25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Hello all just a quick post to anyone going through trials and tribulations right now please check out this post on my christian music Blog. It's great song and video I got from
youtube. This song helps me to pull through when I am feeling weak, The emotion the profession of Faith. To be hold on in the face of the storm, To ride it out even though the pain and loss can seem extreme. There is only one true way to make it through times like that. Through our Faith in our Heavenly Father and his Son who died so that we might live Jesus. Praise be to our Lord and savior Jesus. May we be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can witness to the many in need.
Great Ray Boltz Song
Thank You All and God Bless!

"There's a point where the body stops and inner strength begins. It really begins from the soul - from God." Sylvester Stallone
I know for some this may be old news. I still think it is pretty interesting. I am impressed that some celebrities are now finally openly discussing their faith. This outlet can have the power to bring many more to see the glory of our God.
I do believe that some of Hollywood is bearing false witness as a marketing ploy, but when it come to Stallone I believe he has been touched by Christ's glory and has found his faith again.
Rocky Balboa's Sylvester Stallone talks about his faith
What do you think?
If you look at the Rocky franchise there really is a positive message of faith. Some leaders have even started using the films as teaching tools.
